Examples are railroad ballast released from projects, carefully cleaned and reused, or copper slag from Hamburg for specific hydraulic engineering applications. Materials such as drain mix and other reuse streams are also being investigated for potential, despite their often negative reputation. The goal: maximum circular and high-quality utilization of residual streams from the GWW.”
