Introducing new products - Rototilt Control for even more excavators

Rototilt Control is a new product concept from Rototilt consisting of rotary tilt pieces, joysticks and a new user-friendly control system. We are now expanding the concept further with the compact rotary tilt piece RC3. 

"Smaller excavators are also becoming increasingly sophisticated. The innovations in Rototilt Control hold great advantages for these specific machines," says Product Manager Sven-Roger Ekström.

Rototilt Control was launched last year with the RC System control system, the RC Joysticks, the RC series rotary tilters.as well as the new RC Connect app, which is also part of the concept. Since its launch in 2022, the concept has been incrementally expanded with more models. So now Rototilt is expanding the range with the RC3 rotary tilt piece, for excavators between 6-12 tons. 

"The next step for the Rototilt Control product platform concerns compact machines, with the RC3 spearheading the way," says product manager Sven-Roger Ekström. "The compact segment has been growing in recent years. The RC3 made specifically for the excavator system has improved hydraulics that offer even more precision for smaller excavators ."

The new rotary tilters in the RC series are used in conjunction with the RC System control system. According to Sven-Roger, the new display and safety interlock functions can offer particularly great advantages, especially since the safety interlock SecureLock is included as standard. 

"Safety in the workplace is essential. SecureLock is based on a patented solution with electronic sensors in the safety latch and meets the high safety requirements of EN474," he says. "The fact that SecureLock is included as standard in the RC series and that the display in RC System has integrated buttons for this safety latch as standard is an important step in our product development."

The sales launch for RC3 is scheduled for Oct. 6, 2023, and more launches are expected in the future, according to Rototilt.

"We are constantly developing our product range, whether it is service tools or rotary tilters. The next step for Rototilt Control is already in development," Sven-Roger concludes.
