Gebroeders Geens, the family business behind the all-famous Knikmops & Rollmops, is turning over a difficult page. The agreement with their exclusive distributor for the Netherlands, De Schans, came to an end on 30/06/2023; until that date Knikmops could still be ordered from Hedel from the manufacturer in Hoogstraten. After a long and drawn-out procedure, Gebroeders Geens can once again look to the future. And that's right on time, because next year the Knikmop producer will be celebrating its 35th anniversary.e birthday.
Gebroeders Geens obviously knows how important Dutch customers are for the growth of their products. They were the first to test Rollmops & Knikmops in practice. They could not and should not under any circumstances suffer from the transition in the Netherlands.
Dutch Knikmops users have nothing to fear. Gebroeders Geens is entering into a direct relationship with Handelsonderneming Veluwenkamp, which has been distributing Knikmops and Rollmops for years. With them, customers can fall back on years of experience and extensive knowledge of the Belgian brands. "We are proud to continue representing Knikmops in the Netherlands and will continue to do so with passion in the future," said Karel Toebast of Handelsonderneming Veluwenkamp.
Gebroeders Geens is also working together with De Nederlandse Machine Maatschappij B.V. of Waardenburg, a new face, who are also committed to helping Knikmops customers in the Netherlands in the best possible way. The products hold no secrets for them either.
Cornald Van Wijk of Nederlandse Machine Maatschappij on the new cooperation with Gebroeders Geens nv "We are very happy with this unique opportunity to represent Knikmops in the Netherlands. Everything here is about the customer; good service makes satisfied customers."
The Dutch market has had to wait long and impatiently for it, but here comes Gebroeders Geens with their electric articulated loader, the Knikmops KM140 E.
It has been fully field tested and approved as of 2020. It is now up to the Netherlands to discover Knikmops KM 140E. The compact wheel loader is available with two battery packs, Standard 20 kWh or Endurance 30 kWh. These allow the Knikmops driver to work a whole day, Standard 5 hours and with the Endurance up to 8 hours. The Knikmops is easy to charge with the same type of charger as a passenger car. The charging time of the standard battery pack is 1h45 and of the large battery pack 2h30.
Of course, innovations are not standing still at the Knikmops manufacturer from Belgium. Work is in full swing to expand the electric range. This year, the family of Z.E. Knikmops is expanding; in addition to the KM 140 E, there will be a heavier brother, the Knikmops KM 180E. Both will soon also be available in a telescopic version. Come and discover them first at Matexpo (Kortrijk) at stand D08 and then of course at the fair in the Netherlands.
