Staad Opens New Parts Center in Schijndel and Takes the Next Step in Its Growth

Staad has opened a facility in Schijndel. With the opening of this new Parts Center, the company is taking the next step in its growth strategy, which focuses on both international expansion and the further development of its own STAAD brand.

As the company’s operations have expanded—from being a dealer and importer to also becoming a manufacturer of electric earthmoving equipment and charging infrastructure solutions—the demand for capacity continues to grow. This trend is further driven by the expansion of the dealer network abroad and the establishment of service centers in these markets.

"At Staad, we always think in terms of solutions; when those solutions no longer fit within the current possibilities, you have to take decisive action"
Peter Cortenbach – Supply Chain Manager at Staad

Growth on track

The opening of the new Parts Center is in line with Staad’s strategic roadmap. As a manufacturer, the company will continue to expand its portfolio in the coming years with new electric excavators and charging solutions under the STAAD brand.

To support this growth, the company is scaling up in a deliberate and controlled manner. In doing so, it is first making maximum use of existing capacity. Despite several optimization efforts, Staad’s current facilities have reached their maximum capacity to accommodate further growth.

The new location is situated on Van Leeuwenhoekweg in Schijndel, and is therefore a short distance from both the headquarters and the R&D facility in Veghel. This brings the total number of Staad locations to five, including the production sites in Harlingen (electric earth-moving machines) and Oss (Powerbox batteries, inverters, and fast chargers).

Logistics and Assembly as a Link in the Production Process

The new Parts Center will be set up as a logistics center and assembly facility. In addition to the warehouse, part of the preliminary assembly work will also be carried out here.

Among other things, kits are assembled for the electrification of earth-moving machines, and cab interiors are prepared. These cabs are made fully ready for use so that they can be immediately installed and connected to the company’s own brand of electric excavators—STAAD—at the production site in Harlingen: Earth Moving. Earth Saving.

By centralizing and structuring these processes, efficiency throughout the supply chain is further improved, and the company can respond more quickly to growing market demand.

International Ambitions and Scalability

As the company expands its operations outside the Netherlands—including the establishment of an international dealer network and service centers—the need for a robust and scalable logistics organization is also growing.

The new Parts Center plays an important role in this. By bringing logistics, inventory management, and assembly preparation closer together, we create a stable foundation for serving customers and partners—both domestically and internationally—more quickly and efficiently.

With this expansion, Staad continues to build a future-proof organization in which growth and innovation go hand in hand.
