Wheel washing system solves emissions problems

Dirty roads, dust and sticky dirt on vehicles are the order of the day at many landfills, loading areas of bulk materials, container parks, construction sites ... FRUTIGER, as the global market leader, has been offering a wide range of modern and practical solutions for these for more than 30 years.

A wheel washing system addresses the problem of
dirty roads to

In 1995, FRUTIGER developed the world's first drive-through system. With a drive-through system, trucks no longer have to stop to clean tires. When the vehicle drives past the light barrier at the entrance, the wash system activates automatically. While driving through, the numerous nozzles clean the tires and chassis with powerful water jets. In the process, the wash water automatically flows back into the system, where it is reprocessed for the next wash. An integrated scraping system or a scooping system removes the sprayed-off sludge, which you can then dispose of effortlessly.

Demucking plants clean dirty construction vehicles

Unlike a wheel wash plant, a demucking plant does not serve to keep public roads clean, but to remove coarse dirt and gross residue from the chassis, underside and wheels or tracks of construction vehicles. A demucking rig can clean tracked vehicles up to the size of a Caterpillar D11, as well as dump trucks and wheel loaders. A complete wash of the front, side and chassis takes barely a few minutes with a demucking system. This allows you to return the vehicles to service immediately. In addition, you save on resources, relieve the environment and contribute to the well-being of everyone on site.

Dust binding systems effectively attract dust particles

FRUTIGER dust binding systems work on the principle of dust binding to tiny water droplets. High-performance medium- and high-pressure pumps with a pressure between 20 and 100 bar spray a water mist with masses of very fine water droplets via special nozzles. The almost microscopic droplets are more effective because, in addition to their greater number and more homogeneous size, they remain in the air longer due to their lower escape and fall velocity. Thus, they exert a lower attraction all around, binding more often with the dust particles and dropping them on the ground. Thanks to this proven technology, the water used ensures effective dust binding.
