Rototilt expands its range of quick couplers to accommodate more attachments and applications

Rototilt introduces a new generation of quick changers with much greater flexibility and the possibility for more diverse attachments and applications. These are 41 new variants in both standard and QuickChange versions, including new models for the demolition segment.

The quick coupler is the connection between the piece of equipment and the turntable or excavator. It is an important component to keep the whole unit functioning properly. Now Rototilt is significantly expanding its range of products. Four new quick couplings with a total of 41 variations will be released on the market to fit the vast majority of hole patterns on the market.

"Although the quickchange is a somewhat hidden component in the swivel tilt system, it is a key to making the whole system work," says Jörgen Bergfors, Product Specialist. "Especially for users of QuickChange, it is important that we can create a durable and flexible solution. We put our ear to the ground and with this new range we can meet the need for significantly more tools and applications. In addition, the quick attachments have a 6-degree compensation that is optimal in combination with our rotary tilt attachment."

In addition to a wider range for end users, this new generation also means great benefits for dealers of Rototilt products. Among other things, because the new quick changers have the same basic design in both standard versions and with QuickChange.

"Basically, our dealers will need to stock fewer basic models and can easily put together different variants," says Jörgen.

More heavy-duty models

In addition to quick couplings for attachments, Rototilt is marketing more variants for heavy work, such as for the demolition segment. There is also a version without a base plate in the new range, offering the possibility of welding a heavy attachment directly to it.

"With our fully automatic QuickChange quick-change system, the excavator operator can disconnect the rotary attachment very quickly to change to a heavy equipment item such as hammers and sorting grapples. The weldable QuickChange will offer great benefits to our users in the demolition segment," said Jörgen.

Because the quick changers meet the Open-S standard, end users can also combine the Rototilt quick changers with machine quick changers and swivel attachments that meet the same standard. It also opens doors for attachment manufacturers to prepare their products for QuickChange, says Jörgen.

"It's good news for anyone who uses couplings, attachments or turntables with the Open-S standard," says Bergfors. "Other equipment manufacturers, such as for the demolition industry, can also start offering this as a package to their customers."

Sales of the new generation of quick couplers are scheduled to begin in the fall of 2023.
