EasyStairs was born from an intrinsic motivation to make construction sites safer. The foundation was laid with the adjustable access stairs, but in the meantime the product range has expanded considerably with the newest addition of the temporary spiral staircase SST. In addition, existing products are constantly being optimized. What about stairs with round instead of straight end rails?
We notice that many companies in construction and infra do know how to find us by now, says Bouwe Bölger of EasyStairs. “In doing so, we also see that safety is an increasingly important issue. Thus, at the request of a major customer, we recently equipped universal SAT stairs with round end rails. It reduces the chance of a person climbing the stairs getting caught behind the handrail with their coat or tools. A positive development, we think. And so we like to keep our ear to the ground in the market so that we can continue to develop our product range.”

Another example of such a development is the temporary Spiltrap SST. “The stairs can be erected up to 18.4 meters high and, thanks to its modular design, can be easily moved by crane, unlike many stair towers or scaffolding facilities,” Bölger explains. “Thus, the spiral staircase offers its added value in construction pits and renovation projects, where mobility and flexibility are crucial. A further unique feature of the system is that a safe exit can be made on each step, without additional modifications. An important advantage is also the smaller space requirement. And that while the spiral staircase does meet the requirements for use as an escape route for emergency services, a well-known bottleneck with stair towers.”
