Excavator as a versatile tool carrier

At TKD, Steelwrist's team will show how it makes the efficiency drive a reality. Several systems and products will be on display at booth 116. To begin with, the SQ fully automatic quick-change systems. These have no limitations when it comes to the use of attachments. High flows and pressureless returns are no objection. The efficient and correct use of flail mowers, stump cutters, demolition tools and tiltrotators is also no problem. 

New generation

There is also interesting news in the field of tiltrotators. More than 90% of all excavators between 3 and 30 tons are now equipped with a rotary tiltrotator. The more complicated the job, the higher the productivity when using a tiltrotator. The new generation makes that all the more true. Indeed, with a High-Flow pass-through and pressureless return (leakage line) through the pass-through, they ensure trouble-free use of demanding hydraulic tools under the tiltrotator, even in combination with a fully automatic SQ change below.

This does not include the new program for small machines. Innovations here include the S30 quick coupler, the TCX tilting attachment and the new X02 tiltrotator. The latter is a fully cast tilt rotator with all the advantages of the larger models, as well as maintenance-free bearings and other new features.

Enough reason to visit

But there is more at Steelwrist's booth. For example, it is showing the perfect integration of Quantum. The new plug and play tiltrotator control system with absolute position sensors and Toolrec. With Quantum you can perform remote settings and diagnostics, among other things. Complete with a touch screen, apps for iOS and Android and the super comfortable adjustable L8 joysticks. This makes it perfect for any operator. And its great fuel/energy efficiency makes it very suitable for electric machines. And finally, various Steelwrist tools and buckets will be demonstrated.
