In a world where precision makes all the difference, 06-GPS has been providing reliable, top-quality GPS services for almost 25 years. We don't sell hardware, but are the digital link that ensures devices and systems know their location down to the millimeter. As a dedicated service provider in the field of accurate positioning, we offer our customers continuity, expertise, and personal support. Jean-Paul Henry, operations manager at 06-GPS, explains.
06-GPS is a member of GeoBusiness Netherlands and, according to Henry, distinguishes itself through its in-depth geodetic knowledge. “We not only provide a high-quality RTK service, but also actively engage with customers, from start-ups in the IoT sector to large contractors and agricultural companies. When a new device requires precise location data, we advise on the right hardware, perform analyses, and help companies optimize their positioning systems.”

According to Henry, 06-GPS's RTK service is among the best in the Netherlands. “With a network of over 130 reference stations in the Benelux, each equipped with calibrated choke ring antennas, we guarantee exceptional accuracy and reliability. The stations and services have nationwide coverage and are independently certified, not only for coordinates but also for final accuracy and availability. Even during periods of high solar activity, our customers are assured of consistent performance 24/7,‘ says Henry, adding that there is always a station available within a 15-kilometer radius in the Benelux, with coverage up to 40 kilometers across the border. What also sets 06-GPS apart is its personal approach. ’We don't work with ticket systems or intermediaries: a customer always gets someone on the line immediately who can help with the content. No question remains unanswered and no project comes to a standstill.”
The technology of 06-GPS is used in a wide range of sectors. In construction and surveying for dimensioning and pipe registration, in the offshore industry for the construction of wind farms and cable routes, and in agriculture for precision farming, robotization, and drones. “Even robots that mark out sports fields or remove weeds work with our signals,” Henry gives as an example. “Although many hardware manufacturers also offer a network service, many contractors still choose our network. We are the only ones certified for end accuracy and availability. And sometimes we set up a fixed virtual reference station for contractors, close to the construction site. In addition to these RTK services, we have been performing ground movement measurements for more than fifteen years, including for the NAM, monitoring ground movements with an accuracy of up to one millimeter. We also support applications in mobile mapping, such as road inspections and drone analyses.”
Although our service often forms a small part of a (large) project, it is a crucial link, according to Henry. “Thanks to our redundant infrastructure and 24/7 availability, we ensure that no one has to stand still, anywhere in the Benelux or at sea. We will have been doing this with great passion for 25 years in 2026.”
