SWARCO en Van Velsen gaan strategische samenwerking aan

SWARCO and Van Velsen enter into strategic partnership

On Tuesday, July 14, SWARCO of Wattens (AT) and Van Velsen Reflectielijnen of Bodegraven (NL) signed a three-year strategic partnership.

Emiel de Bruin, general manager of Van Velsen visited SWARCO's Austrian headquarters to sign the cooperation agreement with Coateq in the presence of SWARCO COO Philipp Swarovski. On behalf of Swarco, Ron Willemse as (exclusive) importer Coateq signed the cooperation agreement.

Van Velsen and SWARCO are both market leaders in the markets in which they operate. Both companies are combining their knowledge and expertise to make the Netherlands safer and more sustainable with innovative road markings. This cooperation follows earlier long-term cooperation agreements that Van Velsen concluded with, among others, the German company Hofmann Road Marking Systems and the Dutch company Tyker. This brings Van Velsen together all disciplines to further expand its leading position.

A key focus of the cooperation is to develop road markings with a lower environmental impact that provide better visibility in all weather conditions, including when it is dark or raining. We will test and then market these markings to do our part in increasing road safety.
