A true vocational school for the foundation industry

As the training partner of choice for companies in the construction, infra and logistics industries, Training Center Crescendo is expanding its disciplines with a genuine vocational school for the foundation industry starting in September. With this, the Hoorn-based institute provides a practice-oriented answer to market demand.

The foundation world is in full swing and the focus on safety, organization and quality continues to increase. To respond to precisely these developments, Training Center Crescendo is launching the new training branch. "In recent years we have increasingly received requests from the market to develop good and accessible training," says director Joop van der Wal. "Through a further development of previous initiatives, together with industry association NVAF and various working groups, we arrived at a great final result: the vocational school for the foundation industry."

Three courses

Starting in September, Crescendo will offer three training courses (see also www.traincrescendo.nl) provide customized training. "Each course is geared toward specific positions in the industry," Joop continues. "For example, for the employee ón the machine, we have the Foundation Worker course, a course that focuses primarily on applying various foundation solutions." 

The Foundation Specialist study, intended primarily for machinists and pile drivers, is the sequel to this. In addition to theory, practice and the examination of TCVT W 403, this variant also includes the necessary additional modules. 

Managing foundations is the heading under which the third course is offered. With this, Crescendo focuses mainly on work planners, supervisors and executives within the foundation industry. "Foundations is a profession," concludes Joop. "With the start of the vocational school we emphasize that once again!"
