The relatively young company Q-Fence has in a short time built up a nice clientele in the construction and infrastructure sector. "Quality pays off. Our construction fences can take a beating," says director Marco de Tombe. The Dutch manufacturer has delivered nearly 10 kilometers of construction fencing in several phases to construction consortium VeenIX, which is widening and deepening the A9 between the Badhoevedorp and Holendrecht interchanges on behalf of the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management. Also including custom production.
Q-Fence stands for Quality Fence and, according to De Tombe, focuses exclusively on producing high-quality construction fences. "This is due to our tube frame welding methods and the quality of the pre-materials we use. We also get this back through our distributors who market our construction fences and with whom we have a close partnership. Our Professional & Industrial line of construction fences are also hot-dip galvanized. This protects them from corrosion for many decades. So in the long run, it is also a much more durable choice."

In addition to the construction fences, Q-Fence also produces the storage bollards themselves. "We can also customize those specifically, with or without a logo or other requirements," de Tombe explains. "The contact with VeenIX came about through my associate's sister company LMW Netherlands who produce pocket beacons. By now, we have more than 10 kilometers of construction fencing in various types and sizes, including custom work for three wooden piers that we developed and produced in collaboration with the project managers. If required, we can also take care of the (de)assembly."
Many construction projects want to raise their profile in terms of sustainability, De Tombe knows. "With our own developed Nekktar plant bench, we respond to this collective need for greening and beautifying the environment. The plant bench is easy to attach to almost any type of wire mesh fencing, both temporary and permanent. It is therefore not necessary to invest in a totally different type of (construction) fencing that often involves high costs."
