Whether Henk Saes, director and owner of Saes International BV from Weert, was inspired by this song when he founded HammerTime, we dare not ask him. However, we do see similarities: HammerTime is a company you should indeed stop and think about, and Henk Saes has another feat to his name. Indeed, - You can't touch this - there is no comparison.

We speak with Henk about the new activity he is pursuing with HammerTime. "What I would like to emphasize is that HammerTime is an independent company that has to fend for itself. The company is separate from Saes International in Weert."

For those seeking a high-quality B-brand or refurbished occasion

Saes International likes to distinguish itself with big brands and equally big pieces of equipment. "Admittedly, there is nothing better on the market than Epiroc, which is a top product. However, there is a large number of customers who do not want to or cannot invest in such equipment, especially if one only needs it sporadically. In order to be able to help those customers as well, I felt it was time to offer high-quality B-brands and good, refurbished used equipment. We have between 40 and 50 reconditioned demolition hammers in stock, which can still last for fine years. To market these, we founded HammerTime," Henk explains.

The Saes name opens doors in the industry all over the world. Henk noticed this when HammerTime saw the light of day: "Suppliers of B-brands themselves came to us, asking if we wouldn't like to carry their product under our own label. So what started as an occasion supplier quickly became a combination of occasion and new supplier. So at HammerTime, customers buy a new product from the B-line, with the reassurance that the Saes selection criteria and expertise are behind it. Saes International BV has opened a branch in Beverwijk, in order to respond more quickly and flexibly to rental and service requests from the Westland region. "This also works more sustainably, by having less transport we generate less CO2 emissions," Henk explains. "The larger companies and subcontractors working on the seabed are concentrated in the West of the country. Then it makes sense that we, as the largest provider, should be located nearby. Beverwijk is nice and close for these parties."

Saes West is run by "old hand in the business" Frank van der Laan. He rents from stock there mid-range machines up to 7 tons, also the most common parts are in stock there. "The Xcentric Ripper and the Erkat 5500 are also there. Frank specializes in Erkat," Henk said.
