For 20 years, De Jongh Pipesystems has been the trusted address for a gas and watertight piping system. In all those years, the family business has grown into a one-stop-shop for complete HDPE piping systems. In addition to major grid operators, the family business is also a familiar name to many infrastructure contractors for supplying prefabricated PE-HD piping systems in guaranteed high quality.
On January 1, 2001, De Jongh Pipesystems was founded by owner Co de Jongh. "The start took place from a small company hall with a very small, indoor office," recalls director Gerjan Schreuders. At the time, both men already had a wealth of experience in the industry. "Soon the first customers were knocking on the door and the first major orders came in, such as supplying a cold and heat pipe system at the TU in Eindhoven. We also won the first European tender from a grid operator for PE-HD pipes in gas distribution."

Due to increasing name recognition and growth in orders and personnel, a move to new premises in 2004 was inevitable. But even that building proved too small after only a few years, due in part to the increasing demand for prefabrication. Schreuders: "Reason enough to move into another building with a larger workshop in 2009. Our very first plastic welder, Alex Pietjouw, was hired here. We were able to benefit from this location for almost ten years until we were again forced to look for a larger location in 2018. That succeeded. Since then, we have been at our current location at Industrieterrein Dintelmond in Heijningen. The large workshop houses state-of-the-art machinery with both workshop and field welding machines that allow us to perform plastic machining on pipes up to and including a diameter of 1,200 mm."
From the early years (2001) until now, De Jongh Pipesystems has developed as a leading company and is pre-eminently the specialist in PE-HD piping systems. "With a motivated and well-trained team of 20 people and with extensive experience in the industry, we can provide our customers with expert advice during design, planning and implementation phases. From the first conversation to finishing on site, a project is in good hands with us. We are also prepared for a (natural gas-free) future. For example, all our products are hydrogen ready, although we do have the impression that there are still some hurdles to take in the Netherlands in that regard," Schreuders concludes.
