CTBB B.V. opts for digitization with VanMeijel: “Even as a smaller organization, you want to keep up with the times.”
Bergambacht-based CTBB performs works on infrastructure in indoor and outdoor areas. In particular, the company specializes in the engineering and realization of distribution centers. CTBB has ten employees.
At first, CTBB used different software packages. Fouad Ramdani, director of CTBB, explains why this was not convenient. “When you work with different software to do registrations, you create collections of data in different places. We were working with an estimating program, a financial program and here and there Excel. Combining this data cost us a lot of time. In addition, it is also more difficult to draw conclusions on this data.”
Because CTBB is involved with many diverse projects, the company wanted to have more control over them. “We want to have clear insight into the outcome of a particular project without spending unnecessary time and energy on it. That's why we want our information streamlined, integrated and centralized. One digital platform with data: that is possible with Metacom. And it's user-friendly, too.”
Within CTBB, eight people will be working with Metacom. “For these people, work is going to be a lot easier. We are simply giving our people more efficiency in their daily activities.”
When it comes to the future, CTBB has a clear goal: to grow. “As a smaller organization, we want to keep up with the times. Therefore, we make sure we are always up-to-date, and we choose to digitize. We want to continue with that above all.”
