As a longtime client of BAM, the Van der Jagt Group also performed the necessary drilling, sawing and demolition work for the HOV in 't Gooi project. "Initially we were approached for pile driving, but as implementation progressed all kinds of work was added," says Adriaan van der Jagt, owner of the sixty-year-old family business.
Van der Jagt specializes in demolition, drilling and sawing. "With our various entities, we are involved in the most diverse infrastructure projects. We profile ourselves as a thinking specialist. When things get difficult or special, clients always know where to find us," Van der Jagt says proudly. "We maintain many lasting relationships with our clients. That certainly applies to BAM as well. They make full use of our specialties. In addition to pile cracking, on the project in 't Gooi we also 'hacked' steel beams free in the CSM wall, drilled in cuttings and roughened concrete for better adhesion. We also drilled several holes. Drilling up to diameters of 1,100 mm is no exception for us. The more special or challenging, the more we like to sink our teeth into it."
In road and hydraulic engineering, Van der Jagt Group's special asphalt cutting machines with truck combinations are a welcome "guest. "With our heavy road saws and accompanying water tanks, we cut razor sharp. Even for exceptionally thick concrete we do not shy away and then use cable sawing technology." Van der Jagt Groep is thus rightfully a versatile specialist. Meanwhile, the third generation is already directing the family business.
