A large-scale project such as the renovation of the Krammersluizen complex requires a comfortable and future-proof workspace for the people who will be working on it for years to come. Leave that to the experts at K&A Houtbouw. The family-owned company from Groot-Ammers, which has been active in the construction of formwork systems for over 30 years, provided housing for the project team and the construction site staff.

As part of the large-scale renovation of the Krammersluizen complex, work is currently underway to prepare for the construction of a new pump house between two existing lock chambers. Diving teams from DISA International have mapped the profile of both lock chamber walls with centimeter-level precision, while the locks remained fully operational.

What began as a relatively limited engineering assignment has grown into a major modernization of the hydraulic systems as part of the renovation of the Krammersluizen. As the hydraulics partner within the ZEEKR consortium, Bosch Rexroth is responsible for the hydraulic systems in the project: from the roller doors of the push-boat locks and the swing gates of the yacht locks to the slide gates and the new spillway fish passage.
