The Neder-Betuwe Dike Alliance and anchoring specialist High 5 Solutions joined forces to tackle this question. Previous experience with projects such as the Tiel-Waardenburg dike reinforcement served as an important foundation for this effort.

For the past six months, the company has been operating out of a spacious industrial building in Alkmaar, after moving from its long-standing location in Castricum. The move not only provides more space but also opens up new opportunities to serve customers even better and faster.
Why design a geotextile to last a hundred years if you’re going to remove it after just five years? That question served as the starting point for an innovative development by Joosten: JSTN Jogetex HV. It is a fully bio-based and biodegradable geotextile made from wood fibers. It is being used as a pilot in the Neder-Betuwe dike reinforcement project, alongside the standard synthetic version.
