Terracon is a leading foundation company and active in various sectors, such as industry, chemistry and the rail-civil environment. “Our strength lies in the fact that we focus entirely on the customer relationship, where we very consciously enter into cooperation at the front end already in order to jointly arrive at the best solution for the foundation issue,” explains Bekhof. “Customers no longer wish to be faced with unpleasant surprises. With nine heavy-duty foundation machines, Terracon specializes in making foundation elements consisting of both drilled and driven pile systems. “We can handle all types of pile systems,” says Bekhof. “This means that we are called in for the most diverse projects, such as realizing foundations within the petrochemical and industrial sectors as well as tunnels and viaducts, including in the rail-related environment. For example, we are currently working on the foundation design for an innovative ‘plant’ of a major player in the petrochemical industry. And recently we underpinned the complete pile mattress for the flyover junction on the A15-N3, a Strukton project.”
Terracon is an active member within the NVAF. “We are represented as a company in various project groups and also share a lot of information among ourselves, so we can learn from each other.
