Exceptional stability. Smooth, responsive performance. Operator-oriented design. Yanmar CE's new SV39 complements the 3.5-4.0 ton segment with a compact machine that can handle more - with complete control, comfort and safety.
Yanmar Compact Equipment EMEA (Yanmar) announces the launch of the SV39 mini-excavator (operating weight 3,670-3,885 kg), whose greatest asset is stability. Designed for versatility, precision and ease of use, it is a valuable addition to the Yanmar range and a reliable partner on the most demanding construction sites: from civil works to landscaping and municipal projects.
The SV39 excels in balance and stability. Thanks to optimized weight distribution and reinforced undercarriage, the machine remains stable even with heavy loads or on uneven terrain. The short boom and cab configuration increases performance and delivers up to 20 % more lifting capacity than comparable machines. An optional counterweight (+160 kg) provides even better balance - ideal for precise attachment work.
Suitable for larger and heavier attachments, the SV39 expands its application capabilities without sacrificing control. The mini excavator is tiltrotator-ready (direct or sandwich mounting), offering maximum maneuverability in excavation, grading and landscaping work.
It is powered by a fuel-efficient Stage V diesel engine 3TNV88-ESBV2 with 18.5 kW at 2,200 rpm. The high-performance hydraulic system - with two adjustable pumps (2 x 37.9 l/min) and a gear pump (26.7 l/min) - ensures fast, precise responses. With a bucket excavation force of 32.8 kN and an arm excavation force of 20.8 kN (short) or 18.9 kN (long), the SV39 can effortlessly handle tough jobs. A maximum digging depth of 3520 mm and a reach of up to 5370 mm (long arm) increase productivity and reduce travel.

Like all Yanmar machines, the SV39 was developed with the operator in mind. The spacious, ergonomic cab offers excellent visibility, intuitive joystick controls and a fully adjustable seat. A new 4.3-inch color display and improved air outlets enhance comfort during long working days. The mini-excavator is available as a cab or canopy version, with a quiet working environment that reduces fatigue and increases safety.
The SV39 is available with rubber or steel tracks, with a transport weight from 3,490 kg (canopy/rubber) and a width of 1740 mm. It is easy to transport and ideal for tight construction sites. Travel speeds of up to 4.5 km/h ensure quick position changes.
Large lockable engine covers provide easy access to all maintenance points from the ground. The right side door can be opened without tools, simplifying inspections and radiator cleaning. With its distinctive Premium Red finish, the SV39 combines Japanese engineering with European manufacturing quality. The result: top performance, comfort and control.
