There are several current events that affect employment in the construction and infrastructure sector. Consider, for example, the corona crisis, the impact of nitrogen and PFAS. Therefore, collective bargaining parties have agreed on a BBL incentive scheme. This scheme is available from November 1, 2020 and is part of a broader package of measures to retain skilled workers for the sector. The scheme will be implemented by the Volandis Fund.
As a training company or individual learning company, do you employ an apprentice employee who is starting or has started a BBL training program (level 2 or 3) between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021? If so, you are eligible for the BBL incentive scheme. The subsidy has been set by the collective bargaining parties at €1,250 and is awarded in 2 parts.
