Modular and safe construction in infra 

With its sophisticated and modular product range, Easystairs makes projects in construction and infrastructure not only more efficient and sustainable, but also safer. The talus stairs are increasingly being used in dike reinforcements, canal relocations and excavations for fast, efficient and safe access to lower-lying areas. And specifically for those wetlands, Easystairs recently launched a new product group: the Easypontoon. 

The Easystairs pontoon is a very high-quality pontoon with a high load-bearing capacity. "You could use it as a working platform for our stair towers, but the pontoon can also be loaded with heavy equipment," says Bouwe Bölger of Easystairs. "Easyponton fits well with our current product range that focuses on modular construction. The pontoon is made of plastic, thus lightweight and can be easily transported and connected to form a usable working platform with a very high load-bearing capacity. It is a nice alternative to the iron pontoons that are currently widely used in the nautical world." 

Easyponton was first presented at InfraTech 2025, and later at the Bouwbeurs and at Infra Relatiedagen. "The concept has been received very positively and several parties have already shown interest. For example, it is extremely suitable as a working platform in a lock or a canal, but you can also use it to create a footbridge across the water. The concept has already earned its spurs for many years and originated in Austria. We are the distributor for the Benelux," says Bouwe, who finally reports that the cage ladder program has also been expanded to include a sheet pile ladder with a larger entry platform, ideal for sheet pile structures with horizontal reinforcement. "And so, with our modular concepts, we make projects in infrastructure ever a little bit safer."
