The best of both worlds

Lift trucks must be able to operate under extreme conditions. They must constantly lift and lower, transport goods over uneven surfaces and drive through dirt and dust. Until recently, only trucks with internal combustion engines were considered suitable for this task. Simply because electric forklifts could not deliver sufficient performance - until now. With the Linde X20 - X35 and Linde X35 - X50 electric forklifts, this limitation is a thing of the past and, for the first time, it is possible to use electric forklifts in applications that were reserved for combustion trucks. They combine the best of both worlds, offering the dynamics, flexibility and zero emissions of an electric forklift along with the durability, performance characteristics and power of hydrostatic drive IC trucks.

More environmentally friendly, comfortable and quiet

Linde's X-models in the 2 to 5 ton load capacity range are as powerful and robust as combustion trucks, even under the most extreme conditions. The new series makes light work of heavy loads, long transport routes and steep inclines. Key to this are the synchronous reluctance motors (SRM+). These give the trucks unique performance characteristics, which are enhanced by the use of permanent magnets. The use of modern electric motors combined with powerful lithium-ion batteries eliminates the vibration, noise and emissions characteristic of IC trucks, making the X models a more environmentally friendly, comfortable and quiet alternative.

Impervious to dust

The body and chassis are built to withstand the most extreme conditions and challenging surfaces. This is made possible by the long wheelbase and large tires combined with the vibration-free drive shaft based on an elastomeric ring bearing. This makes the trucks impervious to dust and dirt. All units are fully enclosed and can be cleaned with high-pressure equipment.

Driving comfort for the driver

Drivers of the X models experience a whole new level of performance as soon as they put their foot on the pedal for the first time, with acceleration previously only possible in an IC truck. Despite this, the trucks are quiet as well as emission-free. The quiet dynamics with powerful performance, combined with numerous ergonomic improvements, provide a driving experience like no other.

The X20 - X35 and X35 - X50 allow users to invest in sustainable logistics solutions without having to compromise. The X-trucks are the first to offer all the environmental benefits of an electric truck with a performance level equivalent to that of an IC truck.
