EcoRent on the stand at Limach during Technical Contact Days

Anyone looking to rent an electric excavator soon ends up at EcoRent. This year is EcoRent's first time at the TKD trade show, but it's with a good acquaintance. "We are at Limach's booth at number 26. In fact, we specifically chose this brand for the rental of electric excavators, because we think it is important for our customers to rent machines that are reliable and of high quality. And just as important: Limach is the only brand that can run a full working day on one battery charge," says Eva de Bruijn of EcoRent.

EcoRent is strongly affiliated with Rens de Bruijn BV, which has specialized in the rental and sale of machinery for earth, road and hydraulic engineering for 45 years. "This allows us to draw on years of experience in the earthmoving industry. That means we can help our customers optimally in every area." 

A machine for every project

Eva continues: "We have a large stock of machines. For example, our range of excavators starts at 2 tons and goes up to 10 tons. Our capacity means that customers can also come to us for larger or long-term projects. And that they always find the best possible solution for their specific project. Thanks to our transportation department, we can serve our customers at any project location."

Satisfied customer

Jan Kroeze of Kroeze hoveniers from Beesd was recently allowed to carry out a project for the Ministry of Defense and chose an electric excavator from EcoRent. "Because it concerns a Natura 2000 area, the client's requirement was that we use emission-free machines. We rented from EcoRent the Limach E88.1, a 9-ton excavator, and fitted it with a sorting clipper so that we could clear the green waste from our pruning work."

This has worked out tremendously well. "The Limach is a quiet and strong crane. And a full night of loading, is a full day of running. The cooperation with EcoRent was excellent. Even during the quotation process we were nicely spoken to about the possibilities and impossibilities of the machine. The crane was delivered on time, with fully charged batteries. Pleasant was also the good advice we received, for example which charging facility we needed to facilitate on the project site."

Fast and flexible leasing

Being a Limach and Volvo dealer in addition to being a rental company allows EcoRent to operate flexibly. "By the way, we chose the Volvo brand for the same reason as Limach: reliable machines that don't let our customer down," says Eva. "A good example of our flexible way of working occurred recently. Until recently we had no shovels in the range, but when a customer needed one long-term, we decided to purchase the shovel. The request came on Monday and on Friday the customer was already able to pick it up. Because as a dealer we have a certain amount of stock, our rental options allow us to move quickly. And in the unlikely event of a defect, we often have a replacement on hand. In addition, we have our own workshop which allows our mechanics to get to work quickly to fix any defects."

"With EcoRent, we are meeting the increasing demand from customers who want to operate with zero emissions or low noise due to tightened standards. Many people think that an electric machine is less fast and powerful, but this is by no means the case. They are true green powerhouses! However, it can make a significant difference between downtime or going ahead with a project," it concludes.
