Weber MT, the specialist in hand-operated compaction technology, is presenting innovative products at the TKD trade fair. In addition to an overview of the product range, the focus is on vibratory plates and vibratory rammers with battery technology and the new Weber Smart Assist.

For continuous machine availability, proper application and regular maintenance is of great importance. In practice, it comes down to following the guidelines and instructions for both machine operation and maintenance. Weber Smart Assist helps with this. For example, the software signals signals from the sensors built into the machine and displays them graphically with symbols. As with Weber MT's current engine monitoring, the engine is always switched off if engine damage is to be expected when continuing to drive. 

Weber Smart Assist shows the user with symbols how to correct the indicated malfunction. In the case of a heavily soiled air filter, for example, the step-by-step cleaning and replacement of the filter element is explained. Also part of Weber Smart Assist is the compaction control COMPATROL, which now appears in a new design. It indicates to the user the compaction progress in an easy-to-read and easy-to-understand bar graph.

Greater ease of operation

Also new is the operation of the machines. After starting, vibration is switched on at the push of a button. A throttle lever is a thing of the past, as the engines automatically adjust the correct speed. Here, the new Hatz diesel engines of the E1 series are used. On request, the new WSA soil compactors available for types CR 6, CR 7, CR 8 and CR 9 can be equipped with a diesel particulate filter.
