Customer-specific compact pile driving rig with 3 ton drop block
Tuesday, November 29, was a great day for Ten Napel Heiwerken from Urk. That day INPIEQ delivered their new IFP30, a customized compact piling rig with 3 ton free fall winch and many built-in conveniences.
The IFP30 is yet another example of the customer-specific customization capabilities of INPIEQ, the Steenbergen-based specialist in compact foundation machines. Director Frank van Deursen: "As a total supplier, we increasingly develop and build machines in consultation with the customer. The IFP30 is a good example of this. On the one hand, it is still a prototype for us, but on the other hand it is exactly the machine the customer needs. That kind of customization based on familiar basic components is our strong point. And when we have a click with the customer, like now, the puzzle pieces quickly fall into place."
Ten Napel Heiwerken makes low-vibration and vibration-free steel tube piles at locations where no large pile driving machine can go. During the construction of the IFP30, the director/owner Albert Ten Napel came to take a look in Steenbergen and wittily noted "that the construction of the machine was a challenge for INPIEQ and its team, because we had prepared quite a large list of wishes. But the way it all looked, it's definitely coming together." And yes, the end result is to be commended.
The IFP30 is full of conveniences. From the standpoint of zero emissions and power savings, it has two electric motors, one for moving. For the customer, it is a godsend that moving can be done simply through the home connection. A built-in reel was made for the power cable. Furthermore, the pile head is adjustable per tube diameter to keep the pile wire in the center of the tube when the broker is horizontal. The 3 ton free fall winch has an extra large drum to reduce wire wear. There are two auxiliary winches, one of 1,800 kg and one of 3,000 kg. The outriggers are hydraulically adjustable and the leader telescopic in height. The remote control and fixed storage space for two welding machines complete the picture.
