Doosan has expanded the company's new generation of mini-excavators with the launch of the two-ton DX20Z-7 model. With a unique combination of high performance and compactness, the new DX20Z-7 is an ideal solution for tight spaces and covered job sites, featuring a zero tail swing design and a removable hood for low entry. The DX20Z-7 ensures higher productivity, excellent operator comfort in an easily accessible cab and maximum durability and ease of maintenance.
The optimized hydraulic system in the DX20Z-7 mini-excavator makes optimum use of the available engine power of the Yanmar 3TNV70 3-cylinder Stage V diesel engine with an output of 10.3 kW (13.8 hp) at 2200 rpm. This results in fast cycle times combined with smooth control of breakout forces, including an excavating force over bucket (ISO) of 1.55 tons.
In its standard configuration, the DX20Z-7 has an operating weight of 1995 kg. With the optional 1.1 m long arm, the DX20Z-7's maximum digging depth is 2345 mm, maximum tipping height 2750 mm and maximum reach at ground level 3975 mm. This working range offers maximum performance and versatility when operating a wide range of attachments.
The DX20Z-7's high lift capacity and superior dump height make truck loading a simple process, while its ground-level reach reduces the need for constant repositioning when digging.
When the undercarriage of the DX20Z-7 is fully retracted to a width of 950 mm, the machine can drive through narrow spaces. When fully extended to a width of 1360 mm, it provides optimum stability for the excavator, especially when working over the side. Extending and retracting is simple and easy via a switch on the control panel.
Built around the operator, the DX20Z-7 offers optimal ergonomics. There is ample foot space with a flat floor for easy cleaning, ergonomic pedals and easy access to all controls. Forward visibility is optimized by the strong luminous LED light on the boom.
The use of highly durable materials ensures that the Doosan DX20Z-7 model delivers durable and robust performance. All components and design features have been tested under extreme conditions, and the heavy-duty steel tailgate provides extra durability and stability while working. The cylinder guards and battery cover provide additional protection.
The tailgate opens quickly for immediate access to conveniently located components such as easy-to-clean coolers and other daily maintenance and service points, minimizing downtime.
