With quality reconditioned machines, ACDE keeps supply on track

'Our success has not come out of the blue'

Always being there for the customer, not only during the day but also in the middle of the night if necessary. It is an important pillar of ACDE Netherlands BV. "Our success has not come out of the blue. Good products are the basis of and our dedication to customer interests are the most important growth factor," said director Joost Wassink.

The small team at ACDE Nederland BV goes to great lengths to serve the customer. On the website (www.acdebv.nl) we read a clear statement about this: "Whether you have a broken chisel at 9 p.m. on a Saturday night or a machine that no longer works, with one phone call we will make sure that everything is done to get you or your staff running again as smoothly as possible. ACDE is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."

In ACDE Netherlands' own workshop, much effort is put into making used machines as good as new again after reconditioning.

The many brands, both in sales and rental, and the extensive parts warehouse are other pillars of success. The men of ACDE do just about everything themselves from the branches in Duiven and Lisserbroek: selling, renting and where necessary repairing a wide range of products for the demolition sector. Since September 1, Dennis Aerts has been added to the team. Dennis will take on part of the sales and support and thus become a familiar face for many customers.

Leading brands

In particular, ACDE specializes in leading brands: FRD (Furukawa Rock Drill), Rammer, Zijtveld, Socomec and, of course, its complete own line of demolition attachments. For team member Aart-Jan, there is no doubt: "We are proud to offer two great brands, FRD and Rammer, side by side. They are both different, allowing us to answer virtually any customer question. Joost is point of contact for Rammer and I for Furukawa and with both brands we are busy covering the entire market in the demolition sector. With success I may say."

Repair, overhaul and, of course, standard maintenance for all brands of attachments is done from the workshop in Duiven, which is fully equipped for that purpose. It is clear that a growing number of customers are rightly satisfied with this. And... they do not hesitate to compliment us on it from time to time.

Qualitatively reconditioned

To build on its success, the team is constantly working on new, innovative things. For example, ACDE Netherlands has for some time been selling quality reconditioned machines, in addition to the well-known new and young used demolition equipment. Purchasing reconditioned machines is a good move for buyers both from a business and environmental perspective.

For Joost Wassink, there is another important reason: "We are currently plagued by supply problems. We see the delivery times of new machines rising sharply, causing stocks at suppliers to melt away and manufacturers to be unable to meet demand. In addition, we see that everything is becoming more expensive due to rising inflation and the war in Ukraine. So price is also a topic of discussion more than before. With reconditioned machines, we can keep the price relatively low, while the delivered product continues to meet the desired high standards."

ACDE Netherlands has also developed and field-tested its own tracker. With it, some stolen machines have already been recovered and retrieved. So the company wants to market this FG tracker more widely. The FG tracker is very compact and therefore easy to hide. It can even be potted, making removal almost impossible. The battery lasts at least 4 years. The tracker can also be used to monitor the condition of machines. It records the exact number of hours worked and how a machine - for example, a demolition hammer - was used. This also makes it possible to intervene in time if something is in danger of going wrong.
