Van Herwijnen Machinery shows Pronar novelties during Demo Day

Van Herwijnen Machinery B.V. is a young and dynamic company specializing in the purchase and sale of new recycling machines. Within the Netherlands, the company has the importership of two high-quality recycling brands. With Pronar and Sandvik, Van Herwijnen Machinery provides the Netherlands with a full product range of recycling machines.

Pronar

Since 2015, Van Herwijnen Machinery has been an importer of Pronar recycling machines in the Netherlands. Pronar is a recognized manufacturer from Poland. With over 120,000 square meters of factory space, state-of-the-art processing machines and more than 3,000 employees, Pronar is able to supply high-quality equipment: drum screens, various types of shredders (such as single and double-roller shredders), high-speed turners, compost converters and track-mobile conveyors.

Sandvik

In addition, Van Herwijnen Machinery has been an importer of Sandvik Mobiles Recycling Machines within the Netherlands since 2018. Sandvik is originally a Swedish brand, which builds recycling machines in Northern Ireland. Formerly under the name Extec, which later changed to Sandvik. It is one of the longest established brands and this is reflected in the quality and reliability of the machines. Sandvik can therefore certainly be seen as a top supplier of recycling machines, making the difference through knowledge and experience. The range of Sandvik recycling machines includes shaker screens, fine fraction shaker screens and various types of debris crushers, such as jaw crushers, rotor crushers and cone crushers.

Prime

Owner Jimmy van Herwijnen: "It is special for us that Pronar is now also expanding into the market of debris crushers and shaker screens. In 2023, this manufacturer will enter the market with a rubble crusher. The first Pronar MBA 3812 shaker screen was on display as a first at our demo day last month. The great thing about the cooperation with Pronar is that they use our knowledge in designing new machines. We were able to take our practical experiences in the use of Sandvik's tedding sifters into account in the design of this new machine by Pronar, in which we have been closely and actively involved from the beginning."

Demo Day

The new MBA 3812 tedding sieve will be launched at the end of this year and will be one of the attractions on the Pronar stand during Bauma 2022. It is therefore logical that the machine also attracted a lot of attention on the Demo Day of Van Herwijnen Machinery on Saturday, September 17. On that day, at the site of Bouwstoffenhandel de Rieverensprong in Papendrecht, Pronar's complete range of recycling machines was demonstrated live with a total of eight models.

Van Herwijnen on the introduction of new screening machine: "It has more than successfully passed all the test phases, with all the teething problems overcome. For us, the Demo Day was the moment to introduce the MBA 3812 shaker sieve. Another first from Pronar was also on display, namely the MRW 2.75G. As a novelty, this new double-roller shredder from Pronar features a unique roller exchange cassette. This unique product was demonstrated for the first time at De Rivierensprong in debris, something very special."

Larger market share

Van Herwijnen continues: "Van Herwijnen Machinery B.V. is taking an increasing market share in the Netherlands and has been the market leader with the Pronar drum screens since last year." More than 150 drum screens of the brand are currently running in the Benelux, of which Van Herwijnen is very proud. "Our strength lies in satisfying and keeping our customers satisfied. We place enormous value on the service we provide to clients and invest heavily in this. Because we are a small company that works with short lines, we are able to respond quickly and this is how we really make a difference. Once you are a customer of ours, you stay a customer. Keeping and retaining satisfied customers, that is our mission."
