Foundiz advises with an eye on emission-free future

Drilling machine, grout system, vibrating block and new Soilmec SR30 Eagle

Foundiz sells and rents equipment for deep soil improvement and foundation techniques. Based on project specifications or business strategy, the company from Etten-Leur uses piling analyses and other methods to determine how to provide the applicant with the best equipment.

Beretta T21 E elektrische microboormachine
The Beretta T21-E is an electric micro drill for the installation of micro-tube piles (diameter 50-168 mm) in locations with limited height.

The following five machines give an impression of what Foundiz wanted to show visitors during TKD. First up is the Beretta T21-E, an electric micro-drilling machine for installing micro-tube piles (diameter 50-168 mm) on sites with limited height. The machine can drill pipes with lengths of 1,200 mm and does so with a mast length of only 1,760 mm, so it can literally go through any door.

During the drilling process of this type of micropile, a grout mixing unit with pump is often used, such as type STA TM125 + T3. This is also an electrically driven machine and therefore very suitable for indoor use. This fits well into the emission-free future picture of construction.

Vibrating block with multigrip

Of quite a different order is the new Gilbert Grizzly MG-90 Multigrip for excavators between 30 and 35 tons. This vibrating block has a unique clamping system to clamp various profiles, such as sheet piling and H-sections, and that both on the side and on the bottom of the vibrating block. It can also be used for height restrictions. Because the vibrator can be hydraulically rotated and tilted, a lot of time can be saved due to the easy handling.

Dawson attachment block

Foundiz also wanted to show a very compact attachment vibratory block from Dawson during TKD. These British vibrating blocks are distinguished by their incredibly long service life and excellent weight/performance ratio. With their high RPM, ambient vibrations are very limited and impressive impact force is achieved. The Dawson vibratory blocks are easy and quick to connect, making them ideal for interchanging between various excavators.

Soilmec SR30 Eagle

The new compact Soilmec SR30 Eagle foundation machine is intended for drilling concrete screw piles, small displacement drilling piles or for pre-drilling. In addition, it can be equipped with a vibrating block that fits on the same carriage on which the drill box is mounted. The universally deployable Soilmec has been equipped by Foundiz with a larger pull down winch, a special universal carriage for drilling cabinet or vibrating block and a new broker head with telescopic cylinder. In this way, sheet piles or H-sections can be easily lifted. The net drilling depth is 13 meters and the maximum upward pulling force is 30 tons.
