During the loading of heavy containers, large forces come to bear on the rear axle of a truck. In this situation, an axle or axle suspension frequently bends.
Veldhuizen found a solution for this by replacing the 8 ton axle for a version with 14 ton load capacity. This axle will be equipped with double mounting tires for better stability.

Also, the axle suspension (which normally transmits the force through the springs and air bellows) is equipped with a stop cam that rests directly on the stub axle. This stop cam is equipped with shims of 3 mm. Thus, the car can be adjusted flat and the symmetrical force is distributed.

The axle has been moved 41 cm further back, so that the axle load on registration plates can be increased to 10 tons. This increases the total weight by 3.5 tons from 28 to 31.5 tons.
Containers of 20 tons can now be safely loaded.
