Get maximum efficiency from your machine thanks to ultra-precise finishing and exceptional ease of use.
BIA introduces the brand new Komatsu D71-24 bulldozer with hydrostatic transmission and EU Stage V engine. The machine is available in EXi/PXi versions with Intelligent Machine Control 2.0, for ultimate versatility. The D71 combines the power of D65 with the balance and responsiveness of the D61. This allows it to be used to its maximum potential for versatile tasks.
Thanks to Komatsu's 100 years of experience in development and technology, the D71-24 is the brand's largest hydrostatic dozer. It is characterized by exceptional styling, unparalleled visibility thanks to a steeply sloping engine hood, exceptional responsiveness and performance not inferior to the largest models with minimal fuel consumption. Ample standard equipment ensures safety, driver comfort, durability, ease of maintenance, minimal operating costs.
The operating weight of the D71-24 series is between 22,600 and 24,000 kg, with a blade capacity of up to 5 m³. The fuel-efficient EU Stage V engine delivers 179 kW / 243 hp at 2,100 rpm.
The D71-24 is ideal for fast and accurate leveling or heavy earthmoving work. The machine offers excellent durability and functionality and features a high-capacity, wear-resistant blade. The PLUS (Parallel Link Undercarriage System) running gear features rotating bushings that minimize downtime and total cost of ownership.
The EXi and PXi versions are equipped with the second generation of Intelligent Machine Control (iMC 2.0), which continuously scans the work area and uses the data to plan the next pass. This makes the D71-24 extremely productive and accurate. It operates almost continuously in automatic mode, and its ergonomic controls allow any operator to work like an expert.
The integrated iMC system counts, in Europe alone, more than 2 million hours of operation on dozers. This proven machine control system has therefore amply proven itself to be the most reliable and accurate in the industry.
