Foundiz introduces Soilmec, Sta and Marchetti in Benelux

Foundiz B.V. from Oosterhout has further expanded its product range since February this year thanks to three new dealerships for the Benelux. These include the worldwide renowned manufacturer of foundation equipment Soilmec from Italy.

Soilmec manufactures advanced foundation machines such as drilling rigs, anchor boring machines, cranes and specialized machines for performing special foundation techniques such as diaphragm walls and jet grouting.

Foundiz sees great opportunities in the Benelux when it comes to foundation machines for vibration-free foundation engineering. Soilmec machines are produced in a state-of-the-art factory and are extensively tested for several days on a special test site before delivery. This ensures high reliability and quality. Thanks to an optimized production process, delivery times of the new machines are very short.

Another brand introduced to Benelux by Foundiz is Marchetti. Marchetti is a producer of mobile cranes and telescopic crawler cranes. Especially for the telescopic crawler cranes Foundiz sees good opportunities given the fact that these cranes are excellent for deployment on foundation projects and on, for example, steel and tank construction projects. Foundiz is able to provide an interesting range of hybrid telescopic crawler cranes with Marchetti. The hybrid versions can be designed and produced in such a way that these cranes can be switched from the traditional internal combustion engine to electricity. This makes a significant contribution to the reduction of nitrogen emissions.

In addition to the Marchetti and Soilmec dealerships, Foundiz has also become a dealer of STA vibro and grouting equipment. STA produces vibroflots for soil compaction. Vibroflots are large vibratory needles which are driven into the ground by a crane or foundation machine for compaction. Vibroflots can also be used to perform deep soil improvement techniques such as creating stone columns. Foundiz supplies these vibroflots in both hydraulic and electric versions. Both types have specific advantages where the electric versions, of course, also contribute to a better environment. In addition to the vibroflots, STA also produces an impressive range of grout pumps. Grout is a mixture of water and cement pumped by a grout pump for specific applications in soil and foundation engineering. Some examples include grout injections for screwed piles, jet grouting, grout anchors, horizontal drilling and vertical drilling for geothermal installations, for example. Depending on the application, grout pumps can be electrically driven or by means of a combustion engine.

With the new dealerships of Soilmec, Marchetti and STA, Foundiz has taken an important step in expanding its product range.
