VSB Section Concrete Formwork Companies prominent on Concrete Day

The Concrete Formwork Companies Section of the Association of Scaffolding, Highwork and Concrete Formwork Companies (VSB)is participating in the Concrete Day to be held on November 14 at the Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam. Also the day before, members are hosting an introductory event with the concrete industry for students during the Betonexperience.

The VSB Section of Concrete Formwork Companies has a double booth at Contractors Square, numbering 62-63. Members acting here are: Doka Netherlands, Hendriks Group, De Hon Bekistingtechniek, Hünnebeck, Ischenbeck, Layher, Madema, Matemco Hulpconstructies, NOE-Bekistingtechniek, Peri and Safe.

At the association's booth, visitors will be informed about the Directive on Concrete Shoring and Support Structures. In addition, an ongoing demonstration on modeling scaffolding and supports with BIM will be given. The demonstration will be conducted complete with screen and virtual reality glasses.

Betonexperience on Nov. 13

The VSB Section Concrete Formworkers will also participate in the information afternoon for schoolchildren and students - the Concrete Experience. This event will take place on Nov. 13. At the stand, members will explain how to draw and calculate temporary structures. Students will also have the opportunity to take a virtual look inside the structure to be assembled and experience the interplay of forces within such structures.

The Association of Scaffolding, Highwork and Concrete Formwork Companies (VSB) unites the interests of companies operating in the construction and industrial sectors, focusing on temporary structures for working at height and concrete formwork. Its membership includes manufacturers, suppliers, assembly companies and rental companies of scaffolding, aluminum mobile scaffolds, mast climbing scaffolds, ladders, facade maintenance and suspended platform systems, construction elevators, aerial platforms, concrete formwork, support structures and their suppliers.
