Ultimate combination of reliability and innovativeness

In a previous edition, we mentioned the bringing together of two powerful brands: TBS and SVA Group, highlighting then in particular the production move. As of 2020, the commercial organizations are now also physically merged and TBS-SVA Group operates entirely from Nederweert.

Own identity and product specifications

"Now that all knowledge and skills are centralized, new opportunities arise for customers. But...," emphasizes Willy Bruckers, commercial director TBS-SVA Group. The brands each retain their own identity and product specifications!" Bruckers explains why that is so important: "We do not want to tamper with the excellence in drainage for which TBS is so well known. Nor to the innovation in drainage of SVA."

Traditional

"Customers are used to TBS' traditional drainage systems being worked out and finished to perfection. That remains the case, even though they are now produced in the factory in Nederweert," Bruckers assures. "A familiar idea. Naturally, the team of specialists continues to work daily to optimize and perfect each product, as clients have come to expect from us. TBS is and will remain a Premium Quality Leader."

The difference between the traditional and the P-line Max Column: the column is the same size but because the outlet fitting is constructed in such a way, there is more sand and dirt capture in the P-line Max Column.

Innovative

"In turn, in addition to a very extensive range of drainage solutions, SVA has a tremendous drive to work innovatively with traditional drainage products to shape them into products that match market demand. So strong brand identities and proprietary product lines, where is the customer benefit in this merger? To that, Bruckers has a clear answer: "Whereas before we were each other's competitors, now we can complement and even strengthen each other. There is enormous cross-pollination in the field of R&D. By sharing knowledge and expertise from two sides, you come up with new innovative products. This gives the customer a choice of a very wide price-flexible range of best products for every situation. From entry-level to Premium." Bruckers mentions the basic gully that is offered in accordance with requirements according to the certificate at a reasonable price, but also the gullies with added qualitative added value according to the customer's wishes, where you have to think of options in terms of functionally longer life or more sustainable for the environment. Another advantage, according to Bruckers, is that the customer can purchase everything from one party and has one point of contact. "Pretty nice right?"

Active innovation policy

Both brands will introduce several new products and product improvements within the group in the coming period. Bruckers cites as an example the P-line Max Gully: a further development on the former highly successful P-line Gully. "Without being larger in size (lxwxh) the chute still has more dirt collection capacity. Because the outlet fitting is constructed in such a way, it contains more sand and dirt capture. A nice innovative product that ensures less quickly clogged gullies, less flooding, less cleaning, fewer transport movements and thus a better product," Bruckers concludes.
