Quality and innovation in drainage solutions

'Since 2020, Technisch Bureau Soest (TBS) and Struyk Verwo Aqua (SVA) have teamed up under the name in TBS-SVA Group, a market leader in drainage solutions. Thanks to this joining of forces, the company has launched several innovative products on the market in the past two years. It then presents itself with the slogan "Where quality and innovation merge.

"TBS is known for its high quality and workmanship, SVA for its innovativeness," says Willy Bruckers, commercial director. "These two strengths radiate across both brands and this can be seen and felt in our products. Within the GWW, as market leader in the Netherlands, we are the advisor for drainage issues. Here, innovation, sustainability and safety form the basis of our policy and product range."

Innovative products

Looking at innovation, the TBS-SVA GROUP has introduced several new products to the market. These include the anti-slip CROSS GRIP covers, the improved VEPROMAX manhole edge rubber overlay and the Q-Line gullies with hinged stench valve. But solutions such as storm water gullies, filter gullies and amphibian safe gullies also rolled off the proverbial innovation belt. Bruckers: "In 2023, we have several new innovations planned, including the Cyclokolk to keep pollution out of infiltration systems and keep surface and groundwater cleaner. And, unique in the Netherlands, the Q-Line PRO gully, rattle-free due to the polyurethane rubber overlay and better suited for overrunning traffic."

Total provider

The TBS-SVA Group is also a total supplier in all types of drainage channels and all possible drainage solutions both for public infrastructure, industry or inner-city. 'Our range in line drainage has grown significantly. From self-supporting type I grating and concealed gutters to design trench and drain gutters, as well as monolithic gutters and liquid-tight gutters.

Lowest MKI value

Wherever possible, the market leader applies sustainability. "We want to be a leader in the drainage market in the field of reuse of concrete granulate and gully sludge, among other things. That is why we offer the GREENDEAL for the return of released old gullies and manhole edges. We break these up, purify them and reuse them in our gullies and manhole covers. Partly because of this, we have a gully with the lowest MKI value in the market."

Less CO2

In the area of sustainability, TBS-SVA goes the extra mile. Besides the CO2 conscious certificate and the ISO 14001 environmental management certificate, all materials are transported with the most modern fleet of vehicles. "All vehicles have Euro 6 engines and standard percentage blending of HVO diesel where one hundred percent HVO is also possible at an additional cost."
