Press invitation to InfraTech 2023

From January 17 to 20, 2023, the 15^e edition of trade fair InfraTech will take place in Rotterdam Ahoy. For 27 years, InfraTech has contributed to cooperation between government and industry and to mutual understanding between clients and contractors. This makes InfraTech the largest national platform for the entire infrastructure sector and the most important meeting place between the public and private sector. 

If there is one sector that can and must provide the solutions to the challenges we face, it is the infrastructure sector. Growing lack of space, energy transition, climate adaptation, new forms of mobility, overdue maintenance of crucial engineering structures, a shortage of raw materials and personnel: they all require smart and innovative answers. 

Official opening 

That's exactly what Michèle Blom, director general of host Rijkswaterstaat and Marc Van Leeuwen, director of Project Management & Engineering of host Municipality of Rotterdam, will discuss with various experts during the opening. InfraTech opens the trade fair with a debate that addresses the major challenges facing the sector.

Innovation awards ceremony 

This edition also features an extensive knowledge program, with sessions from partners such as CROW, the Construction Campus, the water boards and the hosts. One of the highlights is the presentation of the Innovation Awards by Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management Mark Harbers, on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m.

New: Infra Career Lounge

Finding and retaining good employees is one of the biggest challenges of the coming years. New this year is the Infra Career Lounge, where InfraTech exhibitors will have their own meeting point to welcome young talents on January 19. Students and young professionals can inquire about their career opportunities, have their CV and LinkedIn profile checked and take a safari tour of the exhibition floor.

• Registration for the trade show is free at the following link: InfraTech 2023 (gesevent.com) - You can indicate here that you are press.  
• A press room is available at 'Exhibitor Services' in the Plaza, however, space here is limited. There are also plenty of workstations at the Infostand, which also houses the InfraTech team, and in the RiVers and '71 restaurants. 
• There is a Wi-Fi network available called InfraTech 2023 (no password) 
• The map and exhibitor list can be viewed on the website.
