Trendsetters in top coatings

Possehl is an international expert in top coats for runways, roadways, industrial floors, recreation and industry. Patrick Roijers, commercial manager at Possehl: "We have made beautiful top layers throughout the Netherlands that have lasted for more than 20 years!"

One of Possehl's top coatings is Thermoflex. "It is a two-component coating that can be applied to many different substrates. From colored bicycle suggestion strips on asphalt roads and bicycle crossings to very creative creations in public areas."

Inspiring projects

In the Netherlands, Possehl mainly makes the well-known red bicycle backing strips, but with Thermoflex they are increasingly looking at infill in public spaces. And this is reflected in some great projects. "For example, we created a large black-and-white artwork by artist Jan Boon on the Herderplein in Utrecht." 

"Another great example is the redesign of the Krajicek Playground on the Hondiusplein in The Hague. We colored the square with a beautiful yellow-blue Thermoflex top layer with circular glass aggregate. So you see: a lot is possible."

Experience center

Since this year, Possehl has a real Experience Center in Oosterhout, North Brabant. "Here our customers can get acquainted with all our dusting materials and coatings. So you can mix on site, add colors and test and feel our materials. At the end of the day, a customer has all kinds of sample plates and can thus make a sound choice. And that's great: because it immediately gives you an idea of whether it will suit your project. In 2023 we are going to festively open our Experience Center."
