For as long as the company has existed, it has been represented at the InfraRelation Days. DAGnl has grown and the number of disciplines has expanded, but the annual fair remains a regular event on the agenda. "This is where our roots are and where a lot of knowledge is exchanged," he says.
Currently, DAGnl has seven offices spread across the country. Many clients choose DAGnl because the company has multiple disciplines in-house.
"DAGnl is actually a group of consulting firms," says Dennis van der Voet, director of DAGnl. "Each with its own expertise and identity. The biggest common denominator is an eye for the environment. Especially when companies are looking for the right balance between sustainability and efficiency, they can count on us for the best, well-founded advice. Whether it's design, realization or maintenance, we ensure a better living environment."
"The design of a project generally requires several disciplines," Van der Voet continues. "Within a project, for example, archaeological, environmental and urban planning aspects may play a role. You can approach three experts for this, but it is better to integrate these aspects into one advice from the very first moment. At DAGnl, all advices are formulated this way. Moreover, our people are practical and solution-oriented. Most of them have worked outside and know how the advice works out in practice."
Our people know how advice works out in practice.
An appealing example of a project involving multiple disciplines is the new construction project De Vlierlanden in Ommen, where 215 new homes are being built. DAGnl has been involved in the project since 2016, from the initial ideas to the realization. Van der Voet: "All the expertise needed to realize this project is in house. Sustainability is of paramount importance here and so the latest possibilities are weighed up and included in each design. In Vlierlanden, for example, the rainwater has been disconnected from the sewer system. The design includes wadis and infiltration facilities."
"As a rapidly growing company, we are aware that we need to reduce CO2-emissions," Van der Voet continued. "For that reason, within DAGnl we have implemented the CO2-Performance Ladder. This not only gives us a picture of our emissions, but also the result of the efforts we are making to reduce them. That motivates tremendously. We can also do this for our customers. We would like to inform visitors to the InfraRelatiedagen about this. Better for the environment, now and in the future."
