The already extensive range of (circular) industrial clothing, PPE, road signs, advertising & signage and tools, is getting bigger and bigger. The reason? HKV is at the forefront of the market and is subsequently expanding its range to make it as easy as possible for its customers. For example, additional GPS systems were recently added to the product range. In addition, the company went from dealer to distributor of Topcon. Jan Henk van Beem, purchasemanager at HKV, tells all about it.
"To make surveying easier for our relations, we have expanded our range to three systems. The Nestle GNPS-42 and two Apglos variants (type Start and type Plus). All three systems are designed to be operated without a surveying background. So user-friendly, price-wise interesting and widely applicable," says Van Beem. "It makes gardeners, pavers, cable layers and contractors less dependent. Because they themselves can digitally map out in a cost-effective way what work needs to be done or what has been done. After all, more and more clients want to have a digital picture of that," Van Beem knows and continues: "Using an app that you operate, instead of a whole operating system that requires specific knowledge, anyone can get started with this. It's even interesting for companies that don't use it very often, because the systems are available in two subscription forms, including a pay-per-use subscription where you pay for what you use. This makes a GPS measurement system accessible to a wider audience." Van Beem notes that companies are more broadly deployable and do additional work for customers when they have the equipment at their disposal. "They provide more data than initially requested and in this way can also add value to their customers. A specialty that HKV is happy to provide them with."
In addition to personal cooperation with customers, HKV also places great value on working with suppliers. "For more than 30 years, we have been a dealer of Topcon. Since January 2022, we have additionally been a distributor of Topcon lasers in the Netherlands. Service remains guaranteed, everything is sold under warranty and we can now also provide dealers with this equipment. We also have our own repair and calibration department for maintenance." Topcon is a household name in the industry. "It's nice to know that Topcon fully supports us because of the long-term cooperation, our know-how and especially our vision with which we approach the market." That vision: 'a nine for the customer' actually says it all. "We do everything for the customer. Our service orientation and total package definitely contribute to that," Van Beem concludes.
