Well pumps, trench shoring, vibratory rollers, mobile light towers or earthmoving equipment, the two sister and family businesses Bunnik Verhuur and John Bunnik Grondverzet rent out (almost) everything for contractors in earth, road and water construction. "Short lines of communication are central to our well-structured family business," says company manager Perry Bunnik, son of founder John Bunnik who is still active as a crane operator. Brother Michel and mother Ineke are also closely involved in the family business that is praised and employed by many infrastructure contractors.
"With our skilled staff, we can respond quickly and flexibly to unexpected and complex situations. Even on weekends," says Perry. "Moreover, we have extremely modern machinery and, especially in recent years, we have invested a lot in new machines and pumps with clean engines."
John Bunnik Grondverzet, with almost forty years of experience and many regular customers in the infrastructure sector, is a household name in earthmoving. John Bunnik Grondverzet operates as a rental company of excavators and shovels with and without an operator. "If necessary, we even adapt our equipment to the specific requirements of a project," Perry explains. "It ensures that work can be done faster and more efficiently. Thanks also to our experienced machinists. In fact, not infrequently clients specifically ask for one of our people. So the way we approach projects and adjust equipment if necessary is appreciated."
The family business is more than just a partner in earthmoving. Since 1995, sister company Bunnik Verhuur has been added to the family concern, specializing in the rental of materials and accessories for the infrastructure sector. Bunnik Verhuur has a wide range of pumps. "We like to think with our customers and give personal advice on materials, equipment and moving water, among other things," continues Perry. "Supported by an assortment of now eighty pieces of well and dirty water pumps ranging in capacity from 30 to 280 m3 per hour. And all under the guise of 'however high the water is, Bunnik pumps everything dry again'."
In addition to pumps, Bunnik Verhuur's product range also includes all types and sizes of trench shoring, vibratory rollers and mobile light towers to even brush cutters. Perry: "You name it, we rent it. And if there is a need for a specific solution, we are happy to invest in it. Thanks to optimal synergy between our sister companies, infrastructure contractors have just one point of contact for virtually all (support) equipment and accessories. We arrange the complete picture, offer fast service and are on standby 24/7."
