Powerful sorting grab for in demolition and recycling

Most powerful sorting grab for in demolition and recycling

Scoop from Pladdet available directly from stock

In the demolition and recycling industry, sorting grapples are put to the extreme. High impact loads and little lubrication are daily occurrences here. As is contamination from outside. "From our customers, we were asked to develop a robust
and reliable gripper to produce."

"This resulted in our HD sorting grab, which is of such high quality that we can offer the unique three-year warranty," says Eline de Putter, marketing and communications coordinator at Pladdet. "And particularly nice for our customers is the fact that we simply have this demolition grab, as well as many other products, in stock."

Indestructible gripper

Family business Pladdet has existed for more than 80 years and is a specialist in manufacturing and supplying high-quality attachments and machines. "When designing the Sorting Grab HD, only the best was good enough. Only then will high peak loads due to bumping and working in hard material and aggressive substances pose no problem. Consider the use of floating hinge pins in Hemiax bearings with a dust seal, making the grab extra resistant to water, sand and other contaminants. Or the weighted grab shells made of Hardox® and the weighted parent frame made of high-strength steel. In addition, the sorting grapples have an end stop in the frame. As a result, the cylinder itself is not used as an end stop, which makes it less vulnerable."

Demolition equipment

"To serve customers well and quickly, we have a large stock of demolition tools readily available to them. Like our demolition hammers, which are known for their reliability and high impact speed. Or our rotary pulverizers, which are very much on the rise. With these, demolition work can be done, but also secondary work such as reducing materials before it goes to the crusher."
