Working as a Senior Work Planner / Project Coordinator at A.Hak

At A.Hak, you’ll work on the underground infrastructure that keeps the Netherlands running. You’ll prepare projects involving the installation and replacement of gas, water, and electricity lines. These are varied projects at diverse locations, ranging in size and complexity, and often with tight schedules.

As a Senior Work Planner/Project Coordinator, you are responsible for the technical and organizational preparation and/or coordination of our projects. You ensure that everything is in order before implementation begins and remain involved throughout the project to ensure that scheduling, quality, safety, and progress are maintained.

Depending on your experience, the focus will be more on work planning or, conversely, on project coordination within the project team. In either case, you’ll be a key link who maintains an overview and connects the various parties. Depending on the role you’ll be filling, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and monitoring schedules
• Coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Coordinating work within project teams
• Organizing materials, equipment, and permits
• Reviewing technical documents and project data
• Creating and managing workbooks and project documentation
• Monitoring progress, risks, quality, and project agreements

Job Requirements

• You have a higher vocational education (HBO) level of work and thinking, and preferably a degree in a technical field (such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Energy Engineering, or similar);
• You have at least 2 years of experience as a Work Planner, preferably in underground infrastructure;
• You enjoy working with others and know how to bring different parties together;
• You work in a structured manner and maintain a clear overview, even when projects are under pressure;
• You are proactive, eager to learn, and solution-oriented;
• You have a good command of the Dutch language.
