Once an excavator has entered his hours on his phone or a driver has registered a transport on a tablet (or mobile), this information is immediately available to the employees in the office. "In terms of planning, the software ensures that personnel, equipment and materials are intelligently deployed," Berwers continues. "For project administration, the tool provides up-to-date progress reports and cost monitoring. But it goes further. The invoicing department can invoice work faster and without errors. And in terms of inventory management, the tool offers every possibility to keep a sharp eye on deliveries and consumption." Because all departments work with the same up-to-date information, the risk of errors (and the associated failure costs) is greatly reduced. Double registrations, outdated data and inconsistencies are therefore definitely a thing of the past.

Outside the company walls, the benefits are just as great. "For example, the outside foreman can use the foreman portal on the tablet to keep track of production on the various specification items within the project," Berwers explains. "Immediately after entering the data, the weekly statement can be declared final and the term sheet prepared."
