Rototilt Benelux is ready to impress at TKD

From June 12 to 14, Sint-Oedenrode in Brabant will be the epicenter of the earthmoving and recycling industry during the Technische Kontakt Dagen. On an outdoor area of no less than 250,000 m², professionals in earthmoving, road construction and hydraulic engineering will have the opportunity to see the latest machines and technologies live in action. Rototilt Benelux is also present again. On lot 168 visitors can get behind the joysticks themselves, get acquainted with the latest innovations and of course talk to the team over a cup of coffee.

Since the establishment of Rototilt BV in 2023, the brand has experienced impressive growth in the Netherlands. The strategic choice to become active in the Benelux with a dedicated team proved to be an absolute hit; for just under two years the market share in the Netherlands has been experiencing steady growth. Jason Sanders, Country Manager Benelux, explains, "We started out behind, so there was a lot to do. By operating from a clear long-term vision, we are gradually managing to capture more market share. We have a broad offering, consisting of high-quality products. That is paying off."

Machine transforming

Rototilt turns any excavator into a versatile tool carrier. Efficient and precise. The Swedish brand does this with an integrated line of rotary tilt attachments, (fully automatic) quick couplers, control systems and attachments. The innovative concept results in higher productivity, greater safety, lower fuel consumption and less strain on the operator. The flagship product of Rototilt Control (RC) is the updated series of tiltrotators with pressure-compensated hydraulics for precise movements. Simultaneous rotation, tilting or digging? "The RC concept was designed with three key points in mind: user experience, energy efficiency and precision," Sanders knows. Rototilt offers turntables for machines from 1.5 to 43 tons, from the ultra-compact RC1 to the extremely powerful RC9. With the introduction of Rototilt Control in 2022, the Swedish manufacturer has clearly broken new ground. Oil-filled rotor housing

For example, Rototilt distinguishes itself with an oil-filled rotor housing. Where other systems are lubricated with grease, Rototilt deliberately chooses oil. This has several advantages: oil effectively dissipates frictional heat and reaches all critical points. This reduces wear and maintenance. Sanders: "The oil only needs to be changed once a year. This keeps the system clean and performing optimally." Another plus is fuel economy compared to the outgoing R-Series. "Tests show that a 20-ton machine with RC tiltrotator consumes 1 to 2 liters per hour mínder. That saves on costs and is better for the environment."

Rototilt has long been known as a pioneer in the field of rotary tilters. With precision work comes precise control. Of course the standard joysticks can be used for this, but if you want to get just that little bit extra out of the concept, you simply cannot ignore the RC Joysticks. These are ergonomically designed and have adjustable wrist rests, 360° angle adjustment and a well thought-out placement of buttons, switches and scrollers for optimal ease of use. After various tests, based on feedback from operators, a design was chosen in which the joystick still feels comfortable in the hand even after a long working day.

Working with certainty

In addition to gains in time and quality, Rototilt carries safety as a high priority. For example, SecureLock ensures that all couplings are always securely fastened before your
to work. This prevents dangerous situations with attachments coming loose or hanging crookedly. 

The patented design combines hydraulics, mechanics and sensors with sound signals and information on the display. The system warns immediately if a problem occurs and even lets you know in time that a piece of equipment needs maintenance or is worn out. Not for nothing has SecureLock won several awards and comes standard on all RC models. 

QuickChange is another innovation for which there is an important role at TKD. This fully automatic quick-change system allows the operator to change tools safely and quickly from the cab. The latest generation features clutches with higher oil flow, improved seals and less heat generation. Thanks to the combination of Rototilt Control products, excavators on tires or tracks become true all-rounders. Sanders: "You can perform many more types of jobs with one and the same machine. That greatly increases deployability and makes you more flexible as an entrepreneur."

According to Sanders, the growth in the Benelux is no accident, but the result of hard work and a clear vision. "We have built a strong team that is fully focused on this region. With our own office with workshop and warehouse in Echt, Limburg (centrally located in the Benelux), a network of dedicated dealers and a strong focus on service and support, we have gained a foothold in a short period of time." This lays the foundation for further growth in the future.
