Mecalac continues focus on multifunctionality in new models

Ahlmann Netherlands looks back extremely positively on the bauma in Munich and is now setting its sights on the next important fair. During the TKD, the versatility of the Ahlmann and Mecalac machines will take center stage, both in terms of presentation and demonstration. Come and see, at lots 84 and 86.

"Bauma 2025 can be called successful in every respect," says Jonieke van den Oord. "The weather was great, many special machines were exhibited, and we were once again able to welcome many Dutch visitors to the Mecalac stand. There seem to be a little more of them every edition. In any case, they managed to find us well among all the fair spectacle and hopefully not for nothing. There was a nice demonstration every hour and the manufacturer had once again pulled out all the stops, with several firsts and a striking prototype."

Robust all-rounders

According to Van den Oord, Mecalac has made it clear that the focus on multifunctionality of the machines will be continued. So no thirteen-in-a-dozen, but robust yet refined all-rounders that can be used in a versatile way. "Ahlmann swing loaders and Mecalac excavators are already distinguished by a different outlook. The whole concept is well thought out and offers many advantages. That line continues with the Revotruck dumper and Revo 990 backhoe loader combination, both of which feature a rotating cab."

This results in a revolutionary design that puts functionality and safety first. In backhoe loaders, it is common for the seat to rotate, leaving you with dual controls to dig or load. Mecalac solves this with a rotating cab. In fact, the Revotruck is the world's first dumper with four-wheel steering as well as a rotating cab. This improves visibility and thus safety on the construction site when fully loaded. Besides being safe and convenient, it is also simply practical, as it reduces the number of machine movements.

Positive reactions

At TKD, Ahlmann Netherlands hopes to be able to show as much bauma news as possible, focusing on both the Revotruck and Revo 990. "Not directly something for the Dutch market, but it shows what the brand stands for and customer reactions have been very positive. At our stand, the electric models are also in the spotlight. There are demonstrations with the es1000 swing loader and e12 multi-excavator. The Mecalac eMDX dumper will be on static display and we also hope to bring the es900tele, a tele-swing loader based on the es1000, and study model eMWR to TKD."

The eMWR recently showed off as a world first at the bauma show. This emission-free mobile excavator based on the 9MWR is already the fifth model Mecalac adds to its e-series of zero-emission machines. The electric version is equipped with a 75 kWh battery pack in the undercarriage, where the fuel tank is normally located. After an hour on the fast charger, the eMWR is available for another seven hours as a versatile all-rounder. With this tire-powered midi-excavator, the French manufacturer has a potential sales hit in house for emission-free construction sites.
