Grip and control

Primaned works extensively with parties such as the central government and energy companies, as well as contractors and commercial parties. They work within the construction, infra, pharmaceutical and chemical sectors, among others. Think of Gasunie, TenneT and ProRail. "Our consultants analyze and calculate the impact that changes in planning entail, the costs and any risks that may occur during project implementation." Primaned is involved in tenders for roads, bridges and energy transitions, but also in the construction phase of large airports or (chemical) plants. "We provide grip and control," says Paul. "For example, with the Van Brienenoord Bridge, nuclear reactors or airports."

It's all about insight: planning, risks, cash flow, resources and changes. "We ensure that all important data becomes insightful in the tool and create customized dashboards and reports. In order to make the important decisions." They also see the software developing at lightning speed in the area of project management. "Think of the development of a Smart Construction Platform, which can be used integrally for planning and risk management, or Document and Changecontrol." Paul points to their own Primaned Academy. "Project management is an unknown field in Europe that is constantly changing. That's why we train our own people and clients in it."

Ready for the future

In the coming years, Primaned wants to focus even more on that full-service approach. Nationally and internationally, such as with their new branch in Germany. "Our goal is for clients to get a better grip on their projects themselves, so they can eventually take it on themselves. For each customer, we look at what they really need in that." Paul also sees many possibilities for the future in combination with AI. "Artificial Intelligence uses collected data to make predictions. We can use our specialist BI & Data Analytics department to link more and more data for better insights. The great thing is that our profession is really still in its infancy in other countries within Europe. There are opportunities there and we can be of enormous value. So plenty to do!"
