Everything for the infrastructure sector under one roof

Trench shoring, drainage and dirty water pumps, compaction equipment, sewer containers, as well as wheel dumpers, midi- and mobile cranes, road plates and even lighting. The family business has been a total supplier to contractors in the infrastructure sector for many years and is known for its short lines of communication and fast service. 

On the A24 Blankenburg connection, Bunnik Rental was a "kid on the block" for many years. "The project is almost at an end," says company manager Perry Bunnik. "Where we started making construction roads more than six years ago and did a lot of earthmoving over the years, there is now a beautiful Rozenburg interchange and A24 highway. When I drive over it I am proud that we were able to support this special project. We are currently putting the finishing touches to the project, assisting in the clearance of the depots and the dismantling of the chain parks. We are also contributing to the completion of a final stretch of quay."

Rotterdam World Gateway

Bunnik Verhuur, of course, is active on many more projects. "For example, on behalf of the company KWS, we are contributing to the expansion of the Rotterdam World Gateway container terminal, the beating heart of European transit. On this project, too, the infrastructure contractor benefits from our versatility. For example, we are assisting KWS with a midi-excavator, including operator, and our sewer crew is making an important contribution to the project. From Bunnik Verhuur, two multi-purpose all-terrain vehicles (gators) are stationed here for transporting tradesmen and equipment, as well as a series of well and wastewater pumps with stage V motors, sewer containers and the necessary trench shoring equipment."

Second Maasvlakte

Some time ago, Bunnik Rental added a new Liebherr 916 mobile crane to its extensive range. "The new machine is equipped with 3D GPS from Leica and likes it very well, if we can believe our operator Jimmy," says Perry. "He enjoys running for Van Gelder on the Second Maasvlakte. A new container depot is being built here, where we are assisting Van Gelder with the earthwork for laying cables, pipes and traffic engineering. If necessary, we can also connect a vacuum pump to the mobile crane for machine laying paving, tiles and tires. From Bunnik Rental, we are also supplying a wide range of products on this project, ranging from sewer valves to light trucks and compaction rollers."

Professorenbuurt

In Sliedrecht, Bunnik Verhuur is assisting the Nijkamp company with the redevelopment of the Professorenbuurt, where not only the sewers, pavement and greenery are being replaced, but also heat networks are being installed. "Our machinist Remon is running an 8-ton midi-excavator on this project, contributing to a wide variety of work. We also supply wheel dumpers here, a tracked dumper, driving plates and our trench shoring."

Electric alternative

The big advantage of Bunnik Rental is that we deliver everything from one source, says Perry. "It saves the contractor the necessary administrative costs and coordination. He does not have to go to three companies, but finds everything under one roof at Bunnik Verhuur. One phone call suffices and the customer is unburdened." The family business takes its responsibility in the energy transition and continuously invests in making its machinery and pumping equipment more sustainable and expanding. "Of any type of machine or pump, we always have an electric alternative available," says Dr. K. K., who is a member of the family.
