The Environmental List for 2022 has been announced by the RVO. The list includes all business assets for which you can apply for the Environmental Investment Allowance (MIA), sometimes combined with the Random Depreciation of Environmental Investments (Vamil).
The benefit you can get through the MIA has been increased in 2022. The deduction ranges from 27% to as much as 45% of the investment amount. In addition to new additions, the list also has some shifts. Some business assets fall under a different category in 2022, which can make the benefit sometimes higher and sometimes lower. In addition, some assets have been removed from the list because they are no longer considered innovative.
So for our branch, it's super that the electrically powered mobile equipment falls into it. With that, you can get a tax benefit of 45%. That's huge, of course, but also be aware that you can't stack different subsidy pots. It is therefore wise to work with your accountant to see how best to use the MIA scheme for you.
Note: The Environmental List applies only to investments for which the purchase agreement is signed in 2022. You must submit your application within three months of signing the purchase agreement.
