In 2022, Boomrooij Weijtmans invested heavily in people and machinery, expanded with a branch in Son and completed many great projects. "We have been experiencing tremendous growth for five years. Besides the busyness around customer acquisition and large projects, we also make time for organizational development and innovation. This is how we maintain our leading position in the sector," says Weijtmans.
"And speaking of large projects: for example, we have performed pruning work on no less than 17,000 trees in the city center and outlying area for the municipality of Tilburg. This in addition to managing the 670 hectares of municipal forests. This includes peripheral issues, such as emptying wastebaskets and placing new benches. A beautiful and challenging project if you ask me!"
Boomrooij Weijtmans is also not standing still in the field of innovation. "We can no longer ignore energy transition, which is why we are busy making our machinery and vehicle fleet more sustainable. A good example is the purchase of electric mobile cranes. For charging the battery packs, we have 1,600 solar panels to generate our own electricity. This allows us to work with zero-emission in urban areas, for example. Because we would like to grow old healthily together."
